On Wednesday, the 25th of September, we visited Clogherhead Beach. We witnessed the launch of the new RNLI lifeboat. The pupils took part in a variety of educational and fun activities. It was a great day for everyone involved.

This year’s Summer Fete will take place this Sunday, 16 June at our school.
All are welcome to our celebration of the completion of another school year at St Finian’s.
Bouncy Castles, BBQ, Face Painting, Ice Cream and much more will make for a great day.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Rosey Grimes who organised a wonderful Halloween draw. Rosey has not got the final total yet but she has raised in excess of €1000. Well done!! The staff and pupils would like to say a huge thank you to Rosie and everyone that sold tickets for the draw. We would also like to thank David and his dad John for sponsoring the turkey as First prize. We would like to thank Eoin and his father Brian for sponsoring the ham. We would also like to say thank you to Mrs Tuite for sponsoring the pumpkins as prizes.

The PA are holding our Halloween Raffle again this year as it was such a success last year. You should have received your envelope by now, with full details.
