- Active Schools Week 2017
This year Active Schools Week took place from the 29th of May to June 2nd. It included Sports Day, a Hulahoopathon, a Bling your Bike Parade and more!
At the start of the week everybody had a chance to score a goal against some of the teachers in the Penalty Kicks!
We also had a Hulahoopathon and had some great winners! Here are some pictures:

Everyone had great fun in the Uni-Hoc Tournament, where teams went head to head to win!

And Finally to finish up Active Schools Week we had our annual Dance Off, the four winners will be preforming at the fete on Sunday the 18th, don’t miss seeing the winning routines!

- Summer Fete and Fun Day – 4 days to go!
Just 4 days to go until our annual Summer Fete and Fun Day at Dillonstown School on Sunday 18th June from 2pm – 5pm.
We will have the usual barbeque, bouncy castles, dancing, sports, ice cream – all the best things about summer!
We would love if you could join us for lots of fun to celebrate another great year at the school. Everybody is most welcome.

Please make sure to get your bottles for the bottle stall and cakes for the cake sale ready!
We are still asking for parents to help us on the morning of the Fete to set everything up, during the day to keep everything running and of course, more help will be needed to tidy and finish up afterwards. The more help we have the less work falls to each person, so please get involved and help where you can.

- Car Free Day
Today was our day of action for our Green School Travel Flag. We have banned cars from the school for the day so teachers and pupils must walk, cycle or scoot to and from school! As you will see from the pictures it was a huge success!
