Today was our day of action for our Green School Travel Flag. We have banned cars from the school for the day so teachers and pupils must walk, cycle or scoot to and from school! As you will see from the pictures it was a huge success!

A reminder that Sunday is the day for our annual Spring Walk. All are most welcome, we look forward to seeing you there.
On Monday the 6th of March, 3 teams represented St. Finian’s at the FAI soccer tournament in Oriel Park, Dundalk. The boys’ teams played out on the main pitch of the League of Ireland champions. One of our boys teams were agonisingly close to qualifying for the finals on Wednesday. The girls’ team performed magnificently in their competition, winning their 1st game, drawing the 2nd game and losing their 3rd game. All the boys and girls really enjoyed the day out. There were some fantastic performances on all of the teams and there were some excellent goals scored. We cannot wait for next year!
Well done to boys and girls who represented the school at the County final of the Credit Union Quiz in the Nuremore Hotel on Sunday the 5th of March. Unfortunately we didn’t qualify for the national final, but it was a great experience. The boys and girls got a nice surprise for taking part!! Well done to all!
