The pupils of 3rd and 4th class decided that a school walk, with seniors walking with juniors, was a good way to have the whole school active and enjoy some fresh air together. 5th and 6th class thought it would be even better if the whole school recreated the walk made 60 years ago from the old school to St. Finian’s to mark our schools’ 60th birthday this year. Off we set to the old school house where we took photos of the present day pupils. We then walked in the footsteps of pupils and teachers from 60 years ago back to St. Finian’s.
