We love learning through play in Junior and Senior Infants. In October, we had great fun doing some activities based on the book “The Gruffalo”. We acted out the story wearing character masks; we made characters from the story with play dough; we played a Gruffalo memory game and Gruffalo snap; we put the pictures from the story into the correct order; we made a miniature forest with real leaves and twigs and did a puppet show in the forest; and we did the Gruffalo jigsaw.
