Hi all,

Hope we are all coping ok at home and keeping yourselves busy!

Don’t forget to take your time with work that I gave you all last Thursday. 2 hours a day is more than enough. Take your time with reading and written work and do your best. Few tips below:

-English: 1 Class Reader story a week- Re- read every day Aloud. Do 1 activity a day.

Novel: 1-2 chapters a week. Remember on Wednesday @ 11am there will be a Kahoot Challenge on the Novel up here on the Blog!!

– Maths- Do a question from Maths book a day & Master Your Maths. (Spend extra time on the more difficult questions.)

– Gaeilge- 1 story a week. Re read each day and do an activity a day. Also you could revise the stories we have read this year and maybe look at the vocabulary at the back of the book and test yourself on how much words you know.

Project Work: Maybe pick a few times each week you want to spend time on your European counrty project. (Topics are on the sheet) . Don’t just put the project together. Spend some time beforehand researching it/ watching YouTube videos on it so that you become a mini expert on that country!

READ- most important thing you can do! Pick a half an hour- 1 hour a day. Find a quiet place and read your book with no distractions! Make sure to include the book in your reading at the back of your journal!

Plenty to keep you going everybody. But don’t over do it!! 1-2 hours a day! Get out to the garden when it’s nice and play! Enjoy yourselves and have fun!!!

P.S. If you have any questions- parents can email me : stfinians5and6@gmail.com. Check Blog for updates from myself!

Mr. Shevlin.

On Tuesday, the boys and girls soccer teams competed in the group stages of the FAI 5-aside tournament in DKIT indoor pitches. We had two boys teams and a girls team competing. Each team had 3 games. There was good healthy competition on the day and each team performed well. Our boys teams unfortunately missed out on making the county final but our girls team were unbeaten on the day winning two games and drawing one. They will play the county final at the end of the month!

Everyone enjoyed the tournament and all the boys and girls were exhausted after a super active day!
