On Wednesday we celebrated Grandparents’ Day. Lots of grandparents came in to share stories of their school days with the children. They told us all about the games they played when they were young and all the boys and girls in first and second class had lots of questions to ask them. We also created profiles of our grandparents and presented the finished pieces to any grandparents that came in to visit. We finished off by performing a poem and a song for the visitors. The grandparents then enjoyed some tea and cakes in the hall, which was organised by fifth and sixth class.
