Building work has started on our new Resource room.  The site has been fully secured so children should be completely safe.  we would ask you to exercise extra care when dropping off and collecting your children from school.

We are starting our Paired Reading Challenge on Monday 22nd of September for five weeks.  Everyone from Senior Infants to Sixth Class has now been given a book from our Individualised Reading Programme.  We would like every parent to spend between 5 and 20 minutes each night reading with their child/children.  They may read from any book they like and the emphasis should be on reading enjoyment.  We will test the children from Second Class to Sixth Class again at the end of the five week programme and compare these results with the results the children got in May.  Hopefully we will see an improvement in the test results.
