Archives for November 2014
The pupils of 5th and 6th class had a very interesting trip to Leinster House in Dublin on Wednesday the 26th of November.
They got to experience live debates in both the Dáil chamber and the Seanad chamber.
They also had a very interesting tour of the houses and met some T.D’s.
The boys and girls also asked lots of questions on the day.
As a bonus, the pupils also had a lovely walk around Trinity College and the National Museum of Archaelogy. The pupils had a great day out!

5th and 6th class pupils really portrayed the Winter season in their artwork this week.
They made these beautiful “Winter Wonderland” art pieces.
The pupils first made the background- using various different blends/shades of blue and purple. In the second phase they tore/cut black and white card and glued it on the background to create a wintery landscape.

We used a large size propeller and a mini propeller. The mini one worked best, it spun really fast with two paper clips as weight. . It was good fun working with forces and friction.
